Who Can Join KEWOTA?

KEWOTA membership is open to:

  • All women teachers in Kenya
    (TSC-employed, Interns, BOM, ECDE, Private Schools, and TVET Tutors)
  • Retired women teachers
  • Women working in the education sector
  • Female student teachers in training institutions

Did You Know?

KEWOTA also has a Chapter for Men Teachers.
This is in line with Kenya’s Two-Thirds Gender Rule, which encourages inclusive participation and balanced representation.
The male chapter supports KEWOTA’s mission, promotes gender partnerships in the education sector, and participates in empowerment and community programs.
