KEWOTA MEMBERS EMPOWERED: FINANCIAL WELLNESS AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

KEWOTA members are now equipped with financial knowledge, resources, tools, and tips to improve their financial well-being. 

The Kenya Women Teachers Association partnered with CLOUDPAY to conduct a workshop with the aim to provide insights, tools, and practical solutions to improve financial management skills and behaviors.

KEWOTA's role in teachers' financial well being

Listed as one of the top agendas of the Kenya Women Teachers Association, financial empowerment has been at the heart of KEWOTA since inception. KEWOTA believes that financial freedom and wellness is one of the top contributing factors to teachers productivity and general well-being. 

KEWOTA has conducted several surveys that aimed to provide information and data about the financial habits of teachers, and from the results KEWOTA managed to create several financial literacy programs, table banking programs, and other life-changing initiatives that have highly contributed to improved living standards for teachers in Kenya.

KEWOTA-CLOUDPAY Financial Wellness Workshop

The workshop was one of a kind and a first in the sector. KEWOTA and Cloudpay brought together teacher representatives from over 35 counties, private school representatives, digital and IT experts, and other partners. 

KEWOTA members were trained on personal finance management practices, and equipped with knowledge and tools to help them adapt to technological change, especially in classrooms.

Cloudpay will help teachers access finances anytime and anywhere they need it. It aims to assist them in managing their finances and navigating any financial challenges they may face.
